Our products are shaped using three main forming processes, applied according to material and application.
Seamless pipe and tube are manufactured using hot extrusion and rotary piercing. Billets of high-grade solid steel are heated into the correct metallurgical plastic zone, then pressed on rotary machines to form a seamless hollow shell of uniform quality.
Where high precision is required, cold drawing and pilgering are used — cold-reducing hollow shells over internal mandrels to achieve close dimensional tolerances, smooth internal surfaces and work-hardened geometry.
Our welded lines use continuous automated welding, including TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and plasma arc systems. Flat steel strip is precision roll-formed and continuously welded, preserving the alloy's chemical profile.
Rigorous heat treatment brings our stainless steel and chromoly products to a stable microstructure for reliable performance in demanding applications.
Solution Annealing. For grades such as 304, 316 or 310, material is heated above 1050°C to redissolve chromium carbides, then water-quenched for optimal corrosion resistance.
Stabilization Annealing. For stabilised grades such as SS 321 or SS 347H, thermal treatment allows titanium or niobium to bind carbon, preventing intergranular corrosion during high-temperature service.
Stress-Relieving. Controlled heating and slow cooling of our 4130 chromoly tube relieves internal forming stresses while balancing tensile strength and structural toughness.
Surface finish matters for both corrosion resistance and fluid friction. We offer several finishes depending on the application: pickled and passivated finishes (controlled acid baths remove mill scale and surface iron so a protective chromium-oxide layer forms quickly), Bright Annealed (BA) finishes (heat-treated in a controlled, oxygen-free hydrogen atmosphere for a mirror-like, low-contamination surface), and brushed finishes in multiple grit sizes (180, 240, 320 and 400) for architectural and sanitary processing needs.
No component leaves our premises with an unresolved structural or dimensional defect.
Destructive evaluation includes tensile and yield testing (confirming mechanical load and yield limits meet international standards), flattening and flaring evaluations (checking for cracks or splits under mechanical stress, including at weld zones), and intergranular corrosion testing (IGC) performed to ASTM A262.
Non-destructive testing includes hydrostatic pressure validation (confirming pipe won't leak or fail under internal pressure), eddy current inspection (electromagnetic scanning for surface and subsurface microfissures), and ultrasonic scanning (checking seamless pipe for internal voids or discontinuities using high-frequency sound waves).
Our manufacturing is mapped directly to international standards for easy integration into engineering projects worldwide. We manufacture and stock seamless, welded, electric-fusion-welded and cold-worked stainless steel pipe to ASTM A312, ASME SA312, ASTM A358 and ASTM A814; structural profiles meet ASTM A554. Our tubing portfolio includes product manufactured to ASTM A269 for general engineering and instrumentation applications. Our 4130 chromoly tube lines are processed to the mechanical specifications in MIL-T-6736B and AMS 6360, suited to aerospace, defence and high-fatigue motorsport applications.
We maintain full traceability from raw material sourcing to finished-product delivery. Every pipe and tube is identified by heat number, material grade, dimensional schedule and origin. Mill Test Certificates (MTCs) in EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 format, covering chemical analysis and mechanical test results, are included with all shipments. Third-party inspection can be arranged with independent inspection bodies where a project requires it.
